Have you tried intermittent fasting? I practice intermittent fasting weekly. Did you know that studies show that intermittent fasting can help protect you from neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s,Parkinson's and stroke. It can also lower blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides. Triglycerides are a fat that is present in the blood that leads to heart disease. Heart disease is the LEADING cause of death in woman. Intermittent fasting also decreases several biological factors with links to cancer, such as insulin levels and inflammation. When I am practicing intermittent fasting I only eat 2 meals daily between 12pm-6pm. I make sure I stay hydrated all day, this is very important. I do this 3 times per week. Everybody is different and I would suggest doing your research and talking to your doctor, especially if you are taking prescription medication.
In the morning I start with one glass of room temperature water with 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar and one juiced lemon.
After 12pm- I always have an avocado and greens with my favorite protein.
Before 6pm- I love to cook! So it is usually always something different. I love the keto friendly meals that Sunbasket has to offer. Always locally sourced and organic portion controlled ingredients. It is also a lot of fun! www.sunbasket.com
