Golden Milk Recipe

Want to add more turmeric into your diet? Golden Milk is a tasty way to do that! Every night I drink golden milk before bedtime. It helps me sleep through the nite and is great tasting, not to mention reduces inflammation and helps prevent disease!


Almonds: Rich in magnesium, which promotes both sleeping and muscle relaxation.

Ginger: Calms the stomach and promotes relaxation. Ginger can help reduce anxiety.

Turmeric: Acts as an anti-inflammatory.

Cinnamon: Cinnamon also helps with digestion and has anti-inflammotory properties.


1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick

1 (1-inch) piece turmeric, unpeeled, thinly sliced, or 1/2 teaspoon dried turmeric

1 (1/2-inch) piece ginger, unpeeled, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon honey1

tablespoon virgin coconut oil

1/4 teaspoon whole black peppercorns

Ground cinnamon (for serving)



Whisk milk, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, honey, coconut oil, peppercorns, and 1 cup water in a small saucepan; bring to a low boil. Reduce heat and simmer, about 10 minutes. Strain through a mesh sieve and top with some cinnamon.
